Note From the President:
Can you believe it is almost July? With the temperatures coming in hot, we are keeping you busy with fun summer events that will keep you cool and give you plenty of networking opportunities like our Bingo night at the Shrine that is filling up fast, and we will end the hot summer months with a night of bowling coming up as well! Our Roundtable breakfast was a tremendous success with a sold-out event and so much information given from our lobbyist. There will be an update on all that was discussed in the coming months’ newsletters.

Missouri Case Affect AZ HOA’s? Judicial Foreclosure of Federal Leans

States District Court, E.D. Missouri, Eastern Division addressed the issue of
whether a non-judicial tax sale in Missouri could extinguish federal liens held
by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The
court concluded that such non-judicial sales do not satisfy the requirement for
a "judicial sale" under 28 U.S.C. § 2410(c), and therefore, HUD's
liens remained intact.
